FindMyPhonePro ("we," "our," or "us"), operated by Patrick, is committed to protecting the privacy and security of our users. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the permissions required to operate the core anti-theft and device recovery features of the FindMyPhonePro application.

All data generated by FindMyPhonePro — GPS coordinates, camera photos, and videos — is processed entirely on your device and delivered exclusively to your own registered Gmail address. No data is stored on our servers. No third party, including the developer, can access your data at any point.

2. Data Collection and Permissions

FindMyPhonePro requires the following permissions to deliver its core functionality. Each permission is used solely for the purpose described and nothing else.

⚠️ Prominent Disclosure — SMS and Location Data

To function as a device recovery tool, FindMyPhonePro requires two sensitive permissions:

  • Background Location: Collected to enable location retrieval even when the app is in the background, so you can locate your device via SMS if it is lost or stolen.
  • SMS Permissions (READ_SMS, SEND_SMS, RECEIVE_SMS): Required to scan incoming messages for your specific 6-digit PIN command. This lets the app trigger alarms, send GPS coordinates, or capture camera footage — without requiring an internet connection.

Camera Permission

Used to capture photos and videos when triggered remotely via SMS with your authenticated 6-digit PIN. Media is sent directly to your Gmail — never to our servers.

Location (GPS & Network)

Used only when explicitly triggered by an authenticated SMS command containing your private PIN. Not collected passively or continuously logged.

SMS & Call Logs

Used strictly to identify incoming commands authenticated by your PIN. Personal conversations are never read or stored.

Device Administrator

Makes the app resistant to unauthorised uninstallation. We do not remotely wipe devices.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To Provide Services: To trigger alarms, capture photos/videos, and send location updates upon your authenticated request.
  • For Security: To capture visual evidence of the device's environment and deliver it to your Gmail.
  • Communication: To send GPS coordinates and camera evidence exclusively to your registered Gmail address.

4. Data Storage and Third-Party Sharing

No External Server Storage

FindMyPhonePro does not store your location history, SMS logs, photos, or videos on any external server. All data is processed locally on your device and sent directly to your Gmail.

Gmail Integration

The app uses Google's secure OAuth to send data directly to your Gmail inbox. We do not have access to this content at any point.

No Third-Party Selling

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to any third party under any circumstances.

5. Payment and Purchase Information

Our service requires a one-time payment of $19.99 for lifetime access. Payments are processed securely by our payment provider. We do not store your credit card information on our servers.

6. User Control and Data Deletion

You have full control over the app and your data at all times. You may revoke any permission or uninstall the app at any point. Upon uninstallation, all locally stored configuration data is permanently removed from the device.

7. Data Security

Security measures include:

  • All remote commands authenticated by your private 6-digit PIN — no PIN, no response
  • Google OAuth for secure, direct Gmail delivery
  • On-device processing — no data passes through external servers
  • No cloud storage of any personal information
  • Device administrator privileges to resist unauthorised uninstallation

8. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

9. International Data Transfers

FindMyPhonePro is available globally. Because all data is delivered to your Gmail via Google's infrastructure, it is subject to Google's data handling policies for transit. No data passes through our own infrastructure during this process.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by posting the updated policy here and updating the "Last Updated" date. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.

11. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights including: access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion of your data, and withdrawal of consent for data processing.
